All about Bone Health—Keeping Your Bones Healthy as You Age
This special program is for anyone who wants to know the tips and tricks to keep their bones healthy. Whether you are just starting calcium supplements, have been diagnosed with osteopenia or osteoporosis, suffered recent bone injuries, or want to learn more about preventing them, this event will educate you on the best ways to keep your bones happy, healthy and strong!
Featuring keynote speaker Dr. Paul Miller, founder of the Colorado Center for Bone Research and world renowned bone health expert, will speak on the importance of healthy bones and the prevention of osteoporosis and other bone diseases.
Panorama Physical Therapist, Carrie Hamm will give tips on exercises and balance activities to prevent falls and reduce fracture and injury risk and then run a short interactive workshop to assess your balance and practice these tips!
Registered Dietician Jane Motler will educate you on the best ways to eat to keep your bones healthy and strong.
