American Bone Health welcomes Katisha Paige and Megan Willard to growing staff

May 12, 2020 – American Bone Health is pleased to announce that Katisha Paige and Megan Willard recently joined its staff as the nonprofit organization expands its community-based bone health education programming. Paige is a donor relations associate, and Willard is a regional event coordinator.

Katisha Paige Headshot; portrait;Paige comes to American Bone Health with more than 20 years of development experience. Upon graduating from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in biology, she worked for the university’s development office as a prospect research analyst and later bridged into annual giving, running the direct mail program and phone center. She continued to develop her philanthropy skills at North Carolina Central University, UNC Lineberger Comprehensive Cancer Center, and UNC School of Nursing. Paige lives with her family in Durham, N.C.  In her free time, she serves as a Girl Scout troop leader and volunteers for local hospitals and performing arts venues.

Willard serves as American Bone Health’s “boots on the ground” in the Greater Tampa Bay area, where she is building relationships to support a major community engagement campaign called Healthy Bones Tampa Bay. Willard is an experienced business development manager who has worked in both for-profit and nonprofit spaces, most recently as Development Director and Community Development Manager with the Parkinson’s Foundation in Kansas City and Tampa/St. Petersburg.

“American Bone Health is a growing organization that is evolving to answer the challenges of the COVID-19 era, so we are happy to have two experienced professionals like Katisha Paige and Megan Willard join our team,” says Kathleen Cody, executive director of American Bone Health. “Katisha is helping us expand and deepen our engagement with existing and new donors, and Megan is working locally in the Tampa, Fla., to build a diverse community coalition that supports bone health. Their contributions will help us better serve all Americans.”
