Jamiel Maze joins American Bone Health as Healthy Bones Tampa Coalition Coordinator

SEPT. 1, 2021 – American Bone Health is pleased to announce that Jamiel Maze recently joined the organization as Coalition Coordinator for Healthy Bones Tampa Bay. Her duties include managing the coalition’s goals, objectives and activities and collaborating with coalition members to maximize participation. Healthy Bones Tampa Bay is a community education and engagement campaign driven by a diverse coalition of local stakeholders with a goal of reducing osteoporotic fractures in the Tampa Bay Area by 25% by 2025.

Jamiel Maze headshotBefore joining American Bone Health, Maze served as an educator in the Tampa Bay Area for more than 10 years. She received her BA in English from Allegheny College and will soon hold her second master’s degree in Global Development and Social Justice from St. John’s University. She is also currently enrolled in the University of Tampa’s Nonprofit Leadership Certificate program. Maze enjoys volunteering with the Girl Scouts of West Central, Girls Rock Camp St. Pete, and the Junior League of Tampa.
